The North County Christian boys
soccer team looks forward to the start of 2011 soccer season. Led by Senior
defensemen William Keeting and Evan Heath, the pair look to lead the resurgence
from a tough 2010 campaign. John Mark Worth returns as our top goal scorer (9
goals) and Tom Shults returns as the Crusader net minder. Once again, second
year coach Allen Love will bring his passion for the game to North County
Christian.
The team is blessed with a large
returning junior class. All eight members started at least one game for the
Crusaders in 2010. Paul Arnold, Josh Avery, Collin Elliott, Keith Hollen, Tom
Shults, Aaron Smith, Mitchell Vehlewald and John Worth all have pledged to work
hard and change the fortunes from last season.
The Crusaders also have some
underclassmen returning in part-time starter Caleb Nicks and Russell Keeting.
Many of our young men received
honors from the 2010 campaign.

It all begins on August 8th
6:00pm when the team assembles for its first practice of the season. Many of
the young men have made a commitment to the weight room and have sought out
additional training throuht the year. It promises to be a great season.The
season starts on August 23rd at 6pm. It’s a home game at Crusader
Stadium vs. Lift For Life Academy. Come out and support the NCCS 2011 Boys
Soccer team.
