Governance & Affiliations

 

North County Christian School is a ministry of the Ferguson Nazarene Church a Church of the Nazarene affiliate.

 

The North County Christian School Board is comprised of four elected members from the Ferguson Nazarene Church membership, three members appointed from the enrolled families of North County Christian School, seven members of the North County Christian School administrative team, the President of the Parents for Progress organization and the Senior Pastor of the Ferguson Church of the Nazarene.

 

The primary function of the School Board is to seek the will of God in matters concerning the formulation of school policy, and the approval and oversight of the school budget.  All School Board recommendations are presented to the Ferguson Nazarene Church Board for final approval.

 

North County Christian School is registered with the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in Jefferson City, Missouri.  The school is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International, the Nazarene International Educators Association and the National Institute for Learning Disabilities.

 

Our association with these organizations offers opportunities for student activities and teacher development.
