Chapel

Here as NCCS, students are given opportunities to seek relationship with God through our weekly chapels.  Chapels are divided up between middle school and high school, with the occasional times when we join the two together.  Students are taught and participate in various avenues of worship, including through music, the teaching of God’s word and drama.  Music is led by our student praise teams.  Our students have the option of trying out for middle school or high school praise team in their area of gifting, whether it is as a vocalist or instrumentalist.  Once each semester we do a spiritual emphasis week to give students focused opportunity on Christ.  Chapel is typically held three times during that week, as we challenge students in their walk with the Lord.  Chapel is an important part of the NCCS experience, as it brings the student body to consider the implications of corporate, as well as individual, worship, and teaches them how to live a life of worship to their Maker.
