St Louis is expecting an estimated 1,000 or more refugees from Afghanistan within the next week. Many refugees have already arrived. NCCS has an opportunity to SHINE the love of Jesus to our new neighbors and meet some practical and immediate needs they have as they set up a new life here.
NCCS is partnering with Oasis International to collect the following items starting immediately:
*New or like new pillows
*New or gently used pots & pans
*Rice cookers
*Microwaves
*Bath towels
*Laundry soap
*Shampoo
*Paper towels
Here’s how you can help:
1) Bring your new or gently used items from the list to NCCS! Send them in with your child during morning drop-off or drop them off in the admin building.
2) Share this post and tell your friends, family, and church community! The more people who know, the more items we can collect, and the more refugees we can help!
